Wera UK's Solutions Specialist, Michael Fox, visited a major boiler manufacturer to witness the main production lines for boilers and heat pumps whilst also seeing other manufacturing facilities such as the press shop. This allowed us to get an informed perspective on the potential problem areas that Wera could help solve.
Wera UK Solutions Specialist, Michael Fox, visited a global brewer to help solve a range of particular challenges. One challenge in particular was the frequent stripping of threads and rounding of heads in fasteners. This was mainly due to the incorrect under or overtorquing of the fasteners by staff. Wera's solutions provided an ideal fix.
A walk around the workshop of a prosthetics manufacturer allowed Wera Solutions Specialist, Michael Fox, to assess the tooling being used in the assembly of their products, get the opinion of the operatives and discuss ways of standardising each workstation. There was also the possibility to include Wera in mobile kits for the clinician’s across the UK.
On a recent visit to a pump manufacturer, Wera's Solutions Specialist, Michael Fox spoke to the engineers on the shop floor where it was clear that the innovations throughout the Wera range, could be of massive benefit to increase efficiencies both in the workshop and out on site. The engineers constantly come across issues. Wera solutions can help alleviate the problem.
