Wera Tools’ UK Headquarters played host to a different array of exotic metal last week as the drivers and cars of the Wera Alliance Racing Academy came together in the Derbyshire sunshine.
The event was a chance for us to bring together the Wera Alliance Racing Academy and the wider Wera Motorsport families to mark a successful start to the 2024 season. Guests will had a chance to tour the facility as well as explore the full range of Wera Tools while networking with Wera UK staff, colleagues and friends.
The list of drivers in attendance included Porsche Carrera Cup GB driver, Matthew Rees, Porsche Sprint Challenge front-runner Will Jenkins and the Fiesta Junior pair of Alfie Garford and Jenson Mason. The rally world was represented by M-Sport’s British Rally Championship duo of Garry Pearson and Max McRae.
The afternoon featured a live Q&A session hosted by former Wera Tools British Kart Championship driver, Nicole Sutherland, where the drivers spoke about their seasons to date and hopes for the rest of 2024.
The next date in the Wera Motorsport calendar is a trip to West Sussex for the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The four-day event is a highlight in the calendar and some of the drivers will be making guest appearances on the Wera stand across the weekend. Keep an eye on the Wera UK socials for a timetable of each day.
